Northfields Station

Although the District Railway to Hounslow was build in 1883 it was not until 1908 that a halt was established in Northfield Lane (now Avenue). It was on the opposite side of the road to the present station. The halt was replaced by a full station in 1911 and renamed Northfields and Little Ealing.  When in 1932 Northfields depot was developed the station was rebuilt on the eastern side of Northfields Avenue and renamed simply Northfields.
